Event Details
Join us for the inaugural Man Towns' Myrtle Beach Mancation. We will start and end our trip at Whiskey River BBQ located on the NW corner of SR37 and SR 144 just south of Indy. We will then travel by car caravan to Myrtle Beach to kick off the 2012 golfing season. There may be stops in Louisville and Lexington, KY to pick up additional guests. Enjoy 3 days of golfing, a mini tournament, a group golf lesson at Glen Davis Golf School (Glen is a top 100 golf instructor), a session on the new golf equipment of 2012 courtesy of Golf Dimensions, and a cigar seminar by Nick's Cigars (the largest cigar retailer on the East Coast). Accomodations will be at the River Oaks Golf Villas (2br condo with quad occupancy). We will play the "Enchanted 3" courses of Man O War, The Witch, and The Wizard. We will have a tournament on the last day at The Wizard. Participants will be paired and hadicapped based on their scores from the previous 2 days. We will have a few prizes for our winners as well as a few contest prizes.
Your package will cover all transportation costs, lodging, 3 rounds of golf, a 3 hour group golf lesson, a golf equipment presentation, a cigar presentation, a commemorative shirt, and a great time with a group of golfing guys.
Meal costs are not included in your package. A Bob Evans is within walking distance of the golf villas and we will have bagels, granola bars, and muffins as breakfast options. All golf courses will have lunch food choices. Group dinners have been arranged for each evening.
If you have an interest in golf, want to improve your game, and like to have fun, this is the trip for you. Unfortunately we are limited to 48 attendees so register early to reserve your spot.
